Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ORB app, website, and beverage service. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.

The service

ORB lets you compose custom beverages, order them from ORB stations, and share creations with the community. The service is currently in beta: features may change, and availability of stations, ingredients, and functionality is not guaranteed.

Allergies & ingredients

Every drink lists its ingredients before you order, and drinks you flag against your saved allergies are blocked with a confirmation step. You are responsible for reviewing ingredients before consuming any drink. If you have severe allergies, please confirm ingredient suitability independently — shared equipment may contact trace ingredients.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in method secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, rewards, or community.

Community & user content

• You own the drink recipes and content you publish, and grant ORB a license to display them in the app.
• Zero tolerance. ORB has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that is hateful, sexual, violent, harassing, illegal, or otherwise objectionable is prohibited.
• Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours. Offending content is removed, and users who post it are ejected from the community.
• You can report any post or comment (it leaves your feed immediately), block any user, and delete your own posts at any time — all from within the app.

Rewards

Points and tiers are promotional, have no cash value, and may be adjusted or reset during beta.

Health information

Drink recommendations — including those informed by connected devices — are for general wellness enjoyment only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ORB is provided "as is," and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance. We'll note the date above and flag material changes in the app.
